NexFi · Nexus Finance

Every account. Every asset. One nexus.

NexFi pulls your banks, cards, lenders, brokerages, crypto, and even the house into one living portfolio — balances, history, and the money moving between them — and keeps it fresh without being asked.

Our approach

We didn't build another bank. We connected yours.

NexFi connects the banks, exchanges, blockchains and AI assistants you already use into one portfolio, instead of replacing any of them. The best tools already exist — NexFi is what finally gets them talking to each other.

Keep the institutions you chose

NexFi is not a bank, a broker or a wallet. Every account keeps the institution, the protections and the app it already has — NexFi simply sees them all at once.

Proven rails, not homemade plumbing

Bank sign-in runs through Plaid's own window, exchange data comes through Coinbase's official API, and wallets are followed through public on-chain data. The integrations the industry already trusts do the heavy lifting.

Open to the assistant you already use

NexFi speaks the open standard AI assistants use to reach outside tools, so the Claude or ChatGPT you already talk to becomes your finance assistant too. No new chatbot to learn.

The value is in between

Every provider sees only its own slice. NexFi joins the slices — one net worth, one history, and a ledger of the money moving from one account to the next.

Three steps, then it runs itself

1. Connect

Link Coinbase with a read-only key, sign in to thousands of banks, cards, and lenders through Plaid, follow a crypto wallet by its public address, or track a home from its street address. Credentials never touch NexFi's servers unencrypted — and never reach your browser again.

2. Map

Attach each synced balance to a holding in your portfolio. Several wallets can feed one position — two USDC balances on different platforms roll up into a single line.

3. Flow

From then on it runs itself: balances refresh overnight, the moment your bank reports movement, and whenever you show up after they've gone stale.

What you can connect

Four kinds of account, one wizard. Anything a provider won't give up, you can still type in by hand and keep alongside the rest.

Banks, cards & loans

Sign in through Plaid's own window and tick the accounts you want. Your bank password is never typed into NexFi.

Crypto exchanges

Paste a read-only API key. It is stored encrypted, used to sign requests, and never shown again — not even back to you.

Wallet addresses

Follow an on-chain wallet with nothing but its public address. No key, no secret, nothing to leak.

Homes & property

Track a property's estimated market value from its street address, so the biggest thing you own is in the picture too.

What you get

Sync that stays fresh

Nightly refreshes, provider push updates, a one-tap sync button — and an automatic top-up whenever you return to stale balances. You never have to remember to update anything.

True net worth

Assets and liabilities live in one ledger. Mortgages and cards subtract, staked and lent crypto count at their real balance — the number you see is the number that's true.

A ledger of every move

Transactions capture value moving between holdings — a USDC buy of Bitcoin, a card charge, a payout — with both sides valued and the fee surfaced automatically.

History on everything

Every balance change writes a point-in-time snapshot, so holdings, assets, and whole companies chart their own past without any bookkeeping from you. The ledger beside it answers the other half — not what a position is worth, but how the money got there.

Budgets that track themselves

Set spending categories, income sources, and savings goals over the data you already have. Categories and paychecks total your tagged transactions on their own, goals fill up from your live holdings, recurring bills can be spotted from your history for you to approve, and one-off costs you see coming get a month-by-month set-aside plan — no re-entering anything.

Know what you'd keep

Mark a holding as a brokerage, Traditional or Roth IRA/401(k), HSA, or 529 account and NexFi estimates the tax you'd owe cashing out (assuming qualified withdrawals) — and what's left after. No need to know your tax rates: answer a few questions — filing status, income and state — and your Tax Profile works them out from current federal and state rules, then carries them through to your savings-goal plans too. Before you sell, slide to any share of a holding to see the tax share by share — short-term vs. long-term, even with no cost basis entered — and the Budget page shows what to set aside for April. An estimate, not tax advice.

Dashboards your way

Compose nestable widgets — stat tiles, graphs, heatmaps, flow diagrams, sparklines — over any slice of your portfolio, then filter the whole page at once by your own tags and any date range. Give each asset its brand colour (NexFi can look it up for you) and every chart draws it that way.

Privacy on demand

Two switches: one hides every dollar figure, the other swaps your account names for stand-ins — screen-share and coffee-shop safe, without signing out or losing your place.

Ask your own AI

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant and ask it about your finances in plain English. It gets read-only access to your data alone — it can't change anything, never sees a password or bank key, and you can disconnect it in one click.

Sharing

Share a dashboard, not your login

Turn any one dashboard into a read-only link for an accountant, an advisor, a partner, or a lender. They need no account, they see that dashboard and nothing else, and three settings decide exactly how much of it travels.

Who can open it

Anyone holding the link, or only the email addresses you list — each of whom gets their own link and has to prove the address is theirs.

Whether it carries numbers

Links start with amounts hidden. Charts keep their shape and proportions, but no dollar figure is sent to the viewer at all.

Whether it carries names

Swap every asset, holding and tag name for a stand-in, consistently, so a chart and its legend still agree.

Whatever a link hides is removed before the page is built, so it never reaches the viewer's browser. Change a setting and links already sent follow along; switch one off and it stops working wherever it has been forwarded.

One month, as NexFi sees it

Salary, debt, and recurring investing aren't separate stories — they're one chain of value, and NexFi records every link.

  1. Paycheck lands in checking.
  2. An automatic buy converts part of it to USDC.
  3. A daily DCA turns USDC into BTC — fee captured on the way.
  4. The mortgage autopay drafts, shrinking the liability side.
  5. Every step snapshots, so the whole chain charts itself.

What NexFi will never do

Worth being just as clear about the limits as the features.

  • Move money. Every connection is read-only, and no screen in the app transfers, trades, or pays anything.
  • See your bank password. You type that into your bank's own sign-in window, and NexFi receives only permission to read the accounts you ticked.
  • Hand back a key you gave it. Exchange keys go in encrypted and are never displayed again, to anyone, including you.
  • Ask for a seed phrase. Not at setup, not for support, not ever — and neither will anyone legitimate.
  • Show your data to anyone you did not send a link to. Sharing is one dashboard at a time, on your say-so, and revocable.

Where is my money now, where did it move, and what should it do next?

NexFi exists to answer that — continuously.
